BOCC approves Statewide contract with Viemed Health Care Staffing for temporary health staff

Health Department representative Laura Pameticky explained that the State maintains a contract with Viemed and that the county would pay travel and salary expenses while the State reimburses those costs. District Attorney Brian Hermanson reviewed the contract "as to form" and did not object after that review was completed.
The minutes do not include a dollar figure tied to Kay County’s expected use of the contract; the motion approves participation/access to the statewide contract so county agencies may procure temporary staff as needed under the contract terms.
