Board approves reserve firearm authorization, library contract and RIDES funding; appoints West Bend library board member

Sheriff John King asked the Board to approve Reserve Dustin Petersen to carry a firearm upon completion of required training. The Board approved the request effective May 26, 2026.
The Board also approved the FY27 Library Contract in the amount of $85,000 and the RIDES Agreement for $8,000 for FY27. In addition, the Board appointed Samantha Bruellman to the West Bend Library board to fill the vacancy left by Doug Miller; the appointment runs through the remaining term ending June 30, 2030. Each action was approved by motion and carried.
