The Palo Alto County Board of Supervisors voted April 7 to accept a voluntary annexation petition from the Sikora Trust that adds 178.22 acres (NE¼ of Section 2, Nevada Township) into Drainage District 80 Lower Main. The board accepted the report of voluntary annexation following a presentation by Jacobson-Westergard staff.
The motion to accept the petition was made by Supervisor Craig Merrill and seconded by Supervisor Ron Graettinger. The vote was recorded as Ayes: Merrill, Graettinger, Keith Wirtz and Chair Linus Solberg; Nays: Roger Faulstick. The board approved the annexation and the accompanying report, and the motion carried.
