Roscommon County airport manager says taxilane project complete; 4‑unit T‑hangar will need $7,355.92 county contribution

Airport Manager Eric Jaroch updated the board on airport improvements, reporting that federal and state funding covered the design phase and construction of the taxilane and that the taxilane project is complete.
Jaroch said a proposed 4‑unit T‑hangar will require a county contribution of $7,355.92. He reviewed the FAA Airport Capital Improvement Program (ACIP) for 2026–2029. Commissioner Rex Wolfsen inquired about $15,000 the county fronted for the taxilane project; Jaroch said he is working on project closeout and recovery of outstanding items. A/C Shaltz noted project closeout can take a couple of years. The airport also plans a fly-in pancake breakfast on June 7, 2026, 7 a.m.–11 a.m.
