Cass County approves more than $1 million in warrants, renews contracts and awards excavation contract

The Cass County Board on March 3 approved its Consent Agenda, which included several large auditor warrants and multiple contract and grant actions. The Board approved Auditor warrants dated Feb. 12, 2026 for $1,034,452.84 and additional warrants and special runs covering hundreds of thousands of dollars. Administrator Josh Stevenson presented the agenda and the Board voted unanimously to waive reading and approve the items.
Notable approvals recorded on the consent list included an ARPA grant activity allocation, opioid settlement fund disbursements for local programs, a renewal of the UKG contract, and a revised service agreement with Vestis for Highway Department laundering services. The Board also authorized the purchase of thirty wireless routers from Industrial Networking Solutions at a gross price of $28,718.10 with an anticipated $26,400 rebate after purchase, producing a net cost of $2,318.10 to be charged to the Sheriff’s Office capital budget. The Board approved awarding Contract 26161 to Dechantal Excavating LLC for $43,970.00.
Commissioner Scott Bruns moved to approve the Consent Agenda and Commissioner Rick Haaland seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
