During new business Commissioner Rusty Grissom moved to correct a scrivener's error in a contract listed on the Feb. 20 agenda for District 3, changing the number of trucks from three to two under the Department of Environmental Quality On‑Road2 Program, funded by the Volkswagen Diesel Emissions Environmental Mitigation Trust. Jacob McHughes seconded the motion and the Board voted unanimously to approve the correction.
Assistant District Attorney Robin Moore told the Board the error "was only discovered this morning and needs to be corrected and postmarked by the end of this week," creating an immediate administrative deadline for the County to update and resubmit the corrected documents. The correction was recorded in the minutes as required; no change to the program funding source was indicated beyond the reduced vehicle count.
