Residents, staff and students offer congratulations, note community events

During the public-comment portion of the Feb. 16 meeting several residents and board members offered congratulations and community reminders.
A resident (Speaker 10) congratulated Miss Davis on her retirement and noted student participation in the NJSP eighth‑grade dialogue. Board members and the audience applauded athletic achievements and coach recognitions; Board member (Speaker 9) recognized Jimmy Farah as a coach of the year recipient from the Shore Sports Network.
Speakers reminded the community of a St. Patrick's Day parade and a students' Burger Night fundraiser scheduled March 25 from 5–8 PM. The chair and other board members thanked staff, volunteers and parents for their contributions to student success.
