Commissioners on Feb. 17 approved a sole-source purchase request to Delta McKenzie for 3D archery targets and stands for the Shooting Complex in the amount of $10,842.63. Commissioner Jack Lytle moved to approve the request; Commissioner Randy Asay seconded and the motion carried.
During public comment before the purchase vote, Cherie Hensley told the commission that "there is an oversight with the restrooms at the Shooting Complex," and said the Shooting Complex Board and volunteers are requesting that the county clean and maintain the bathrooms. Time for the purchase request was given to Jordynn Hewitt, who presented the procurement. The commission did not take a separate, recorded action on restroom maintenance during this meeting; the purchase approval was limited to the archery targets and the sole-source finding.
