Emergency Management staff reports fires and alarms; director absent for weekly briefing

Clint Langford, the county's Emergency Management Director, was absent from the Jan. 20 meeting; Alana Pack delivered his weekly report to the authority. "There were thirty-one (31) EMR’s, four (4) CONTROLLED BURNS REPORTED, three (3) OUTSIDE FIRES, three (3) STRUCTURE FIRES, one (1) VEHICLE FIRE, four (4) SERVICE CALLS AND TWO (2) FIRE ALARMS," Pack reported.
The report provided incident counts but no requests for additional funding or operational changes were recorded during the meeting. The emergency management purchase orders and a small ARPA-funded service item were approved later in the session, and no further discussion was noted.
