Jail administrator reports 205 inmates at Comanche County detention center; transfers to DOC noted

David Weber, Comanche County jail administrator, reported the detention center population and recent transfers during the authority's Jan. 20 meeting. "As of January 16, 2026 the detention center had a count of 205 inmates. This is comprised of 161 males and 44 females," Weber said.
Weber told members that 13 inmates were ready to go to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections and that 13 inmates were transferred to DOC this week. He provided combined counts showing 227 inmates at CCDC and 109 at other counties for a combined total of 336, figures the authority received as part of the weekly operations update.
