County Staff Outline Renewal Process During Pine Harbor Appeal

Assistant Director Todd Troskey gave a staff overview of the renewal application procedure, and Land Use Specialist Scott Ridderbusch provided additional detail about processing timelines and waiting periods after a permit revocation. Chair Guy Hansen reminded attendees the meeting “would be held in accordance with Wisconsin Open Meetings Law and be recorded,” and clarified the order of testimony.
Staff testimony established that the county enforces renewal deadlines and that revocation typically requires applicants to reapply in the next permitting cycle rather than receive an administrative reinstatement. The board discussed whether to allow reinstatement and considered a reinstatement fee; the proposed $1,500 reinstatement motion failed for lack of a second, and the board ultimately voted to uphold the revocation.
