Father Time honored as Kingsburg Board recognizes 20 years of community events

The Kingsburg Board of Education opened the meeting with a presentation recognizing Father Time’s 20th anniversary. Board leadership introduced a presentation for “mister Jeff Johnson” and invited members of the organization to speak on their work supporting fathers and families in the borough.
“So my name is Donald Acolano, and I'm one of the founding members,” said Donald Acolano, describing Father Time as a support network for fathers who want to be active in their children’s lives. Members described weekly meetings, a fishing derby, father‑daughter dances and other events that they said foster camaraderie and parental engagement.
Mayor George Hough delivered brief remarks on behalf of the borough, saying, “This is Mayor George Hough from the Borough of Kingsburg ... on behalf of the residents of Kingsburg, I wish Jeff and his crew another 20 years of service and 20 years of good luck to come.” Board members and members of the public offered congratulations to retirees and to Father Time’s volunteers.
The board thanked the presenters and moved the meeting forward to regular business.
