The Keansburg Board of Education honored teachers and support staff from across the district during its regular meeting, recognizing individual building winners and naming district‑level awardees for the 2025–26 school year.
"I'm Sean Henry. I'm the vice principal at Caruso," said Sean Henry while presenting Thomas Anderson as the district Educational Services Professional of the Year; Henry described Anderson's work as a paraprofessional in a multi‑grade special education classroom and noted Anderson's promotion to teach Spanish at Bulger. Other recognitions announced included Jenna (Jana) Barash for long service and classroom leadership, Diane Noomi as an educator of the year noted for gross‑motor programming and an extensive secret Santa program, Tara Kukulski as Bulger's teacher of the year, Rebecca Domas as Folger's instructional support professional, and Bill (Billy) Padone as Bulger's support staff member of the year.
District organizers said a committee selected the districtwide winners: Thomas Anderson for District Educational Services Professional of the Year and Tara Kukulski as the district educator of the year. Presenters credited the honorees with improving school climate, inclusive instruction, and strong student relationships. The board and staff urged the community to join upcoming school events that will feature and support student programs and school fundraising efforts.
