TAD and Diversion programs report graduations, terminations and recidivism rates

The council reviewed program-level outcome figures for the Diversion/DPA and ATR periods. For Diversion/DPA (2015–present) the minutes list 219 total cases to date with 25 active cases at present; during the recent reporting period there was 1 graduation, 2 non-compliance terminations, 7 new admissions and 15 referrals.
Overall program tallies show 131 total graduations (68%) and 63 non-compliance terminations (32%). For Diversion/DPA the record shows 194 discharged cases with 63 participants recidivating while in the TAD programs (32%) and 9 participants recidivating after successful discharge (5%). ATR-era counts (2017–2019) were reported separately: 34 discharged cases, 17 recidivated while in-program (50%) and 7 recidivated post-discharge (20.6%). These figures were provided in the program report; the minutes do not attach additional analysis or external validation to the cited rates.
