The Planning & Parks Department requested recognition of $249,326 from the Wisconsin Emergency Management Pre-Disaster Flood Resilience Implementation grant for resiliency and stream and habitat restoration activities on Sucker Creek (Town of Belgium). Planning & Parks Director Struck presented the project scope and funding source; the committee approved the revenue budget amendment and forwarded it to the Finance Committee for further action.
The motion was moved by Vice-Chairperson B. Ross and seconded by Supervisor K. Schoessow. The committee recorded unanimous approval among members present, with Supervisors B. Jobs and T. Matera excused. The item advances county planning for flood resilience and will require Finance Committee acceptance of the budget amendment before funds are used.
