Nobles County commissioners on Jan. 7 adopted an updated Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) that underwent a comprehensive reassessment and reformatting since the Boards last review in 2018. The update brings the plan into alignment with 2023 state requirements and refreshes procedures, contacts and role definitions.
Board members said the new format improves comprehension of roles and responsibilities during an emergency or disaster. The minutes record the motion to approve the EOP and its passage; the updated plan was attached to the meeting materials for administrative follow-up and implementation.
