Council backs code updates and support letter for county animal shelter

Manager Suzanne Harvey said a county shelter would be a benefit to the town and the council authorized submission of a support letter.
Both the code-authority motion and the support-letter authorization were moved by Johann R. Wallace and seconded by Christy Hirshberg and passed unanimously. The minutes do not record ordinance text, fiscal commitments, or a timeline for county action; the approvals were limited to drafting and expressing support.
