At the Feb. 23 meeting Director Nina Fox told the EDA she is awaiting state confirmation on whether Page County is eligible for funding to launch a pilot program offering fixed-circuit and on-demand public transit; the potential funding follows completion of the county’s transportation study last year. Fox said the EDA is monitoring the eligibility determination before any pilot design or procurement steps are taken.
Fox also noted she serves on a short-term rental subcommittee appointed by the Board of Supervisors; that subcommittee’s final report is scheduled for presentation at the supervisors’ March 2 work session. The EDA did not act on either item at the Feb. 23 meeting.
