Kay County Excise Board approves routine fiscal items, reimbursements and small appropriation

The Kay County Excise Board convened on Feb. 9, 2026, and unanimously approved several routine fiscal items, including the regular meeting minutes of Jan. 12, 2026. Vice-Chairman Rod Reese moved to approve the minutes and Member Christy Kennedy seconded; the board voted Wilson, Reese and Kennedy — all aye.
The board also approved a Certificate of Contributions appropriating $60.00 to the Kay County Health Department for Maintenance & Operation (February 2026) and a reimbursement to the General Fund Account for 'Unappropriated Court' totaling $16,223.49 for January 2026. In a separate action, the board approved an officer’s request to add $125.00 to the General Government Fund for Visual Inspection Maintenance (a CODA registration refund) to the Assessor’s budget. Each of those motions was moved and seconded as recorded and carried unanimously. The meeting record shows Tammy Reese present as Secretary/Kay County Clerk and Claude Williams listed among attendees.
