During the administrator’s report Tim Curtis said he received notices from Senator Collins' office indicating that Jackman and Cambridge fire station projects were included in congressional direct spending (CDS) considerations. Curtis also said he was notified that a $1.2 million Sublocade funding request for treatment in the Somerset County Jail was forwarded to appropriations.
Curtis reported he had not seen a similar notice for the West Forks fire project. He also described discussions with Waldo County officials about a proposed agreement for Waldo to pay for jail administrative services, and he led an article-by-article review of that draft agreement for Waldo County Commissioners to consider.
