The Town of Moose River applied for a $15,000 matching grant to help offset its $83,024.61 share of the Jackman Rural Paramedic Program, County Administrator Tim Curtis said during the May 20 meeting. The transcript notes Jackman’s overall contribution to the program is $300,675 and that Jackman previously received $15,000 in Spring 2025 for its portion.
Commissioners did not vote on the request at the preliminary review and agreed to place the application on a subsequent agenda for a formal decision.
