The Watonwan County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously June 2 to accept the low bid of $195,455.00 from Sir-Lines-A-Lot, LLC for Project CP 83-26-01. County Engineer Michael McCarty presented three bids for the project: Sir-Lines-A-Lot ($195,455.00), KAMCO Inc ($198,211.00) and Vogel Traffic Services ($327,523.25).
Commissioner Jim Pettersen moved and Commissioner Dillon Melheim seconded the motion “to approve the lowest bid from Sir-Lines-A-Lot, LLC in the amount of $195,455.00,” which the board approved unanimously. The board did not record additional conditions or a schedule in the minutes. The engineer presented the bids during the board’s project procurement review; McCarty will proceed with contracting formalities following the vote.
