The board set the levy to be placed on the November 4, 2025 general election with first collection in 2027 and a five‑year duration (2027–2031) as described in the record.
During discussion Dr. Watson stated the levy would generate approximately $3.3 million. The resolution references compliance with Ohio Revised Code sections 5705.221(A) and 5705.03(B) and asks the auditor to certify valuation and revenue so the board can proceed with ballot placement.
The board voted to adopt the resolution unanimously. Next steps include the auditor’s certification and any required ballot preparation and legal notices before the Nov. 4, 2025 election.
