Clermont County animal shelter reports No-Kill Status award for 2024

Kennel Administrator Kiarah Swartz and Kennel Supervisor Darlene Williams updated the Board on the Clermont County Animal Shelter, reporting the shelter “received an award for a No-Kill Status in 2024” and thanking volunteers, staff and partner organizations for support.
Separately, the Board adopted Resolution Number 068-25 accepting unrestricted monetary donations and supplies deposited into the Dog and Kennel Fund for the first quarter of 2025. The resolution passed unanimously as recorded in the journal.
The June 18 record notes the shelter’s award and the Board’s formal acceptance of donations; no policy changes or budget adjustments were directed at the meeting.
