The Clermont County Board of Commissioners on June 18 adopted Resolution Number 067-25 authorizing detailed plans, specifications, estimates of cost and a tentative assessment roll for the State Route 132 widening project at the Lakefield Place access road (CLE-SR132-21.433) in Goshen Township.
The resolution declares the county’s intent to make the improvements and to proceed under Chapter 5555 of the Ohio Revised Code, and it identifies that costs will be paid from special assessments of benefitted properties and/or general obligation special assessment notes or bonds in anticipation of collection. The Board recorded a unanimous vote in favor of the resolution.
The measure advances the project to the next procedural stage and sets the tentative assessment methodology as a “per benefitted parcel” method, with exhibits referenced in the journal entry identifying benefitted properties and proposed assessment amounts to be finalized in subsequent proceedings.
