Board signs workforce subgrant and FCF reimbursement agreement to support Local Area 12 and family services

The Board authorized execution of a Local Workforce Development System Subgrant Agreement among the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, Local Area 12 representatives (including Clermont County), and the Warren County Board of Commissioners as fiscal agent. Commissioner Claire Corcoran, as Clermont County's representative on the Area 12 Chief Elected Official Consortium, was authorized to sign documents that will govern the administration of workforce development funds for the period 07/01/2025 through 06/30/2027.
Separately, the Board executed a Memorandum of Understanding with Clermont County Family and Children First (FCF) to reimburse up to $79,651 for Operational Capacity Building Fund, Multi-System Youth Capacity Fund, and Family Centered Services and Supports expenditures for State Fiscal Year 2026. The item passed with two commissioners voting yes and Commissioner Corcoran recorded as abstaining on a separate item earlier in the consent agenda; the subgrant action was recorded as executed in the minutes as presented.
