The Clermont County Board of County Commissioners voted May 7 to approve a request by attorney Michael Minniear to withdraw a petition to annex 1.3112 acres from Williamsburg Township to the Village of Williamsburg. The petition had been filed March 3, 2025, for parcel identification numbers 52-35-09I-045B and 52-35-09I-047B. The Board also canceled the public hearing that had been scheduled for May 7, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.
Minniear made the request on behalf of petitioners Ronald L. Anderson and Michelle L. Anderson. The Journal entry records the motion and a unanimous roll call vote by Commissioners Batchler, Corcoran and Painter to approve withdrawal and cancel the hearing; no public comment on the withdrawal was recorded during the session.
The board's action removes the petition from the formal hearing schedule; no further County action on the annexation was recorded in the meeting minutes.
