The Committee approved several operating provisions intended to protect Village property and public use areas. Members added a prohibition against driving or parking vehicles on grass or walking paths without approval from the Chief Administrative Officer and expanded language barring affixing materials to Village property to include 'vegetation' alongside 'trees.'
The Committee also confirmed an amplified-noise window of 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and agreed that event footprints must explicitly protect access to playgrounds and sporting areas, in addition to sidewalks. On enforcement, members decided that violations of the ordinance would constitute a minor misdemeanor and rejected elevating the penalty to a first-degree misdemeanor as disproportionate.
