The Communications & Community Engagement Committee reported selection of a new website template called "Standard 3" and adoption of a revised, higher-contrast color palette. Council President Angie DeBernardo encouraged members to request the branding guide, and said the Administration is implementing the design.
The Committee also scheduled appearances at the Chagrin Falls Farmers Market on Aug. 30, Sept. 20 and Oct. 25 to promote Village website sign-ups and distribute community resources. Council member Grace Spremulli championed a proposed single front-and-back page quarterly newsletter to include brief updates from each Council member and the Mayor; Spremulli said the newsletter’s tone was intended to be friendly and accessible, in the spirit of a "mom and pop" community publication. The newsletter will require Administration, Mayor and Council approval before distribution with a goal to publish the first edition in the fall.
