The Village will hold a public tour of its Cemetery stream daylighting and restoration project on Wednesday, July 29 at noon, Chief Administrator Robert Jamieson announced. Representatives from Chagrin River Watershed Partners and Village Administration will be on site to explain the restoration work and environmental benefits to attendees.
Jamieson described the restored stream as a "significant improvement over the previous culvert" and said the restoration advances ecological function compared with the earlier culverted condition. The Cemetery Commission separately reported it had completed its annual review of Cemetery rules and noted ongoing paving of roughly half of the Cemetery roads; the tour is intended to provide on-site context for residents and stakeholders.
