Resident Scott Savage asked the Village Engineer about the status of crosswalk bump-out construction at Triangle Park, saying the area appeared to be progressing slowly and expressing concern for pedestrian safety.
Chief Administrator Robert Jamieson responded that the project is being done in phases because of concrete installation and curing requirements, that Village staff had met with the contractor to request expedited work on the mid-block crosswalks, and that "all concrete work in the downtown area remains on schedule for completion prior to Memorial Day, and specifically within approximately two weeks." Council did not take additional action beyond the operational update.
