Chief Administrator Robert Jamieson told the Chagrin Falls Village Council that the North Main Street Bridge project has been selected for a state-level award and that the presentation will take place May 5 in Columbus.
"The North Main Street Bridge project has been selected to receive its fourth award — this one from the Ohio Chapter of the Association for Bridge Construction and Design, in the category of Rehabilitation Project of the Year," Jamieson said. He added that several national awards have also been applied for and that Council will be informed if additional recognition is secured.
Council received the brief report as part of administrative updates; no formal action or funding change was associated with the announcement. Jamieson will represent the Village at the May 5 presentation in Columbus.
