Committee updates RTA joint committee work; appendix G evaluation language ratified and stipend draft to union

The stipend committee produced a tiered structure to categorize stipends by role and time commitment (examples: 1 hour outside school, travel time for teams that travel). Administrators said reclassification will have a budget impact once ratified but described the change as making stipend budgeting more predictable. "There will be a financial cost. It's not gonna be a giant number, but it's well worth the investment now to clean all of this up," the superintendent said. June Sanfilippo (business manager) and staff will finalize the total cost and present it in the drive for the next meeting.
