Terry pressed for clarity on whether principals would be involved in developing procedures; the superintendent and committee members said procedures will be developed collaboratively with administration and staff, even if policy language delegates authority to the superintendent.
A motion to accept the presented clean policy versions as the committee's first read was moved and seconded and approved by voice vote. The committee expects a second read at the next meeting and final approval of the full policy manual at the end of the school year.
