Board funds Fries Community Center $20,000, approves $10,000 for Mt. Rogers CSB; larger requests not funded

Mr. Boyer said staff needs the Board’s direction; Supervisor Tomlinson moved to fund Fries at $20,000 and Supervisor Cunningham moved to approve $10,000 for Mt. Rogers Community Services. Both motions passed 5‑0.
Staff recommended no funding for Brain Injury Services ($500) and the William King Museum of Art ($5,000) unless the Board directs otherwise. The Twin County Airport operational request of $39,600 (in addition to $19,900 debt service) received no motion for approval during the meeting.
