At the July 14, 2026 special meeting, Council member Begeman moved to excuse member Gurley for a personal commitment. Monroe seconded the motion, and the record states "All members voted in favor." The motion carried; the attendance list recorded Begeman, Daniel, McLean, Monroe, Streeter and Stuut as present and noted Gurley as excused.
The excuse was taken up early in the meeting during roll call and agenda approval. There were no additional remarks or public comments related to the absence recorded in the minutes.
