Interim County Administrator Mike Sepic asked the committee what topics he should include in weekly Q&A reports; Commissioner Jon Hinkelman raised an inquiry following an email from Administration Committee Chairman Jim Curran about waivers and bids tied to the Road Department. Road Department Director Mark Heyliger told the committee the January payment is expected in March and that he anticipates the department will begin repaying the temporary county loan and be back in a favorable cash position when funding “picks up in April.” He warned that a further delay by the state could affect primary road projects.
