Salem Township approved renewal of its agreement with PrimePay to administer the Township Employees' Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA). The contract renewal takes effect Nov. 1, 2025, at a monthly rate of $80.10 (a 7% increase from $74.86) and includes an annual enrollment fee of $325. The motion passed unanimously.
Supervisor Ken Trumbetta said the township has had issues with the vendor and that he would like to investigate alternative companies before future renewals. The board noted that PrimePay is used to prevent taxable treatment of medical reimbursements and that the renewal maintains current HRA administration continuity.
