Solicitor: one EDU equals 400 gallons per day; planning module depends on new on-lot system

During the August 6 meeting, resident Eric Hageder asked how the township calculates Equivalent Dwelling Units (EDUs) and whether mobile homes use the same standard. Township Solicitor Gary Falatovich responded that an EDU is calculated at 400 gallons per day for a three-bedroom dwelling, which equates to one EDU.
Solicitor Falatovich added that whether a planning module is required depends on whether a new on-lot system is being created; if there has never been an on-lot system on the property, a planning module is more likely to be required. Hageder requested a copy of the transcript from a July 16, 2025 hearing concerning sewage issues on Athena Drive for further context.
