The Clinton County Planning Commission completed its officer elections for 2026. Dawn Levey moved, supported by Jan Motz, to nominate Margaret Sayles for Planning Commission Chair; the nomination carried unanimously by roll call. The commission then elected Jan Motz as Vice-Chair and Kim Wieber as Secretary by unanimous roll-call votes.
"Dawn Levey moved, supported by Jan Motz, to nominate Margaret Sayles for Planning Commission Chair," the minutes record. Individual roll-call votes were recorded for each officer election and all recorded votes were in favor; Brian Byars was absent for early votes but is recorded as participating for later roll calls after his arrival. The newly elected officers will serve per the commission's bylaws until the next scheduled elections.
