Code enforcement conducted a review of residences on May 29 and reported multiple properties not in compliance; the board noted citations may be issued if issues are not resolved.
The board voted to move Fence Ordinance 2026-05 to a second reading (motion Bares, second Hall). In a separate action the board approved a first reading of Ordinance 2026-06, an amendment to Chapter 8-404 to require that building sewer connections be made by a licensed plumber; the first-reading motion carried. Residents with complaints about grass violations were directed to contact the finance officer so Maintenance can post notice and provide five days to comply.
The board’s procedural steps mean the fence ordinance will return for final consideration at a future meeting and the sewer-plumbing requirement will proceed through the ordinance process.
