Commission approves $314,761 in claims, including $184,300 for wastewater blower replacement

Chair Kevin Hart identified one line item of $184,300.00 payable to Galle Plumbing for a Wastewater Treatment Plant blower replacement. Commissioner Ed Beaudette disclosed that a claim included in the packet was part of Historic Resources Board funding and TIF money paid to a corporation he owns, in the amount of $7,016.75. "One of the claims that is to be approved tonight is part of the Historic Resources Board funding and TIF that my corporation received in the amount of $7,016.75," Beaudette said. The motion to authorize payment carried 4–0.
The commission did not receive public comment on the claims list. The payments will proceed per the county’s standard accounts-payable process.
