Airport manager reports drop in operations, low fuel sales and Life Flight lighting glitch

He said Life Flight reported a problem with lights "not coming on in advance of landings," and he will have the countys internet/IT contractors inspect the system and continue addressing the issue.
Board members noted quantitative indicators of lower activity: Pitts Harrison said the airport has sold only 415 gallons of fuel since the fuel farm availability began in July. Belgarde also reported maintenance items that have been fixed recently (a surge protector repair and a gate timing repair) and said there is copper scrap in the pilots lounge loft he hopes to sell as scrap metal, which "may be able to get up towards about $500.00." He asked the board to advise on where proceeds should be allocated.
The manager framed the lighting issue as ongoing work with external IT support and did not report a safety incident tied to the lights; he said he will continue pursuing the logbook and technical checks.
