Airport board elects Andrew Heppe chair; Pitts Harrison named vice-chair

At its Jan. 28 meeting at Bowman Field, the Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Airport Advisory Board unanimously elected Andrew Heppe as its 2026 chair and Pitts Harrison as vice-chair.
Laura Mancevich moved to nominate Andrew Heppe for chair and Donni Cochran seconded; the motion passed 4-0. Mancevich then nominated Pitts Harrison for vice-chair, a motion seconded by Cochran and recorded as passing 4-0. The board had earlier approved draft minutes of July 30, 2025, with one correction.
The votes were recorded in the meeting minutes as "Motion passes 4 - 0." The board did not indicate any contested nominations or further discussion. The next board meeting is scheduled for Feb. 25, 2026.
