A motion to table hiring a road crew employee (agenda item 1E) passed unanimously; the minutes note the hiring motion has been tabled since November 2024. Resident Lisa Segina asked why the item remains tabled. Supervisor Ken Trumbetta told the meeting that township needs changed after the election and that the township may need to hire a mechanic instead of a traditional road crew employee.
Separately, the supervisors unanimously approved two charitable donations: a $1,000 donation to the Westmoreland County Food Bank and a $1,000 donation to Mutual Aid Emergency Medical Services. Both motions passed with the three supervisors voting in favor.
