Council hears proposed tree ordinance changes; Arbor Day set for July 10

Thill (recorded as excused at roll call) also announced an Arbor Day celebration on July 10 at the entrance to the butterfly garden and said fencing around park trees would be replaced.
She reported that poison hemlock has returned to the butterfly garden and said she is collecting information on burying powerlines. The council did not adopt the ordinance changes at this meeting; the item was presented as the basis for future consideration and possible code revision.
