County tables major road overlay bids and delays 5-year CIRB plan

Commissioner Tim Kelley moved — and Commissioner James Hanning seconded — to table Bid #2026-09 (asphalt mill and overlay covering 141st–193rd and 273rd E Ave); the motion to table passed with all three commissioners recorded as voting ‘aye.’ Later in the meeting Commissioner Stamps moved to table Bid #2026-11 (asphalt overlay and levelling on 121st W of 51 Hwy); that motion also passed unanimously. The bids for #2026-11 included a range of prices; the lowest listed turnkey/with-traffic-control price in the minutes was $324,000 (Central contractors) and other bids ranged up to roughly $478,308.
Commissioner Kelley also moved to table Resolution #2026-034, the Wagoner County 5-year CIRB plan and annual project prioritization plan; that motion passed unanimously. The minutes do not record substantive discussion explaining the reasons for tabling, nor do they specify when these items will return to the agenda.
