Department heads provided routine operational updates at the Nov. 8 meeting. Building Inspector Bill Lambert reported 44 building permits to date. Beach and public‑works staff described stair removal at certain beach stops, kayak removals, garbage can removal plans, and staff cleanup work.
Public Works reported installation of two drywells on Lake Shore Drive between Stops 38 and 39, completing four drywells budgeted for 2024–25. Crews also installed improved cable wiring for better Wi‑Fi coverage at the Village building and will begin seasonal leaf pickup at month end.
