Council approved a $2,105 contract with Orbis Environmental Consulting to perform the National Historic Preservation study required by the EPA for the village's water-project grant resubmission. Two quotes were presented: Merjent ($7,450) and Orbis ($2,105); Tim McCarthy moved to approve Orbis and the motion passed.
Merritt Engineering continues to prepare the Project Plan for the first water grant. Council recorded that the resubmission of a second water grant was necessary after a congressional pause on grants. Separately, a new 750mp pump has been installed in the pump house as part of the first grant's work. Mike Mumper said he hopes to have a water contract with Grand Beach ready by the April meeting.
