Sally McDonald told the council the 2024 Michiana pickleball tournament raised about $4,000 and an additional $258 through a brewery fundraiser, producing a $4,258 donation to the village. She suggested the village blow off courts for Thanksgiving weekend, reopen the bathrooms for winter play, and consider installing a keypad with a code for restroom access. The council thanked organizers and took the suggestions under advisement; no formal action or funding decision was made at the Nov. 8 meeting.
